Little Fall Delights

Trying all the pumpkin beers this year and I don’t feel bad about it. This is a great one. Very subtle. img_0647

Cold Brew after a baby run…might have added a little half and half and simple syrup. Yum!img_0309img_0312

Fun rainbow stairs at Tufts campus. Such a beautiful Fall day.

Welcome 2014!

It is so hard to believe that a New Year is upon us! I lay in bed on the 1st before going to bed thinking, wow, this is it! A new year has begun!  I have so much to look forward to, not just for myself but for my friends also! So many exciting things are afloat this year and I am excited for 2014 to unfold.

This is my workstation, while I work here in OK… right by the propane heater since it is so frigid and windy outside.  I have become accustomed to my little routine here and looking out the windows and watching the horses, enjoying coffee in the morning and hot cocoa in the evenings with my grandma, a one minute commute, but its different, so different than my usual routine in SF, which is okay, just different. I almost feel as if I’m living in a parallel universe. I wish I could bridge the gap and have both worlds, family time and city time, but the two will most likely not meet in this lifetime. It is weird how we grow up trying to claim independence and make it on our own, but once you have that responsibility  you miss the care free time with family. At least thats how I feel, so I am thankful that I have this time and will enjoy it to the absolute fullest until I head back to my city by the bay.

The sky is so crystal blue and beautiful here and there is nothing quite like the smell of a farm, the feed, hay…manure it makes for a beautiful landscape.

I love being able to run around the horse farm. I am not near a beach but this wild will do for now!

The sunset was on fire! Of course pictures DO NO justice to the beauty but I had to try to capture it!

Excited for the weekend and sleeping in tomorrow!

On my afternoon/evening run I noticed how bare the trees were getting and how even in San Francisco we are starting to see signs of Fall.

Autumn Sun

“I cannot endure to waste anything as precious as autumn sunshine by staying in the house.” – Nathaniel Hawthorne

As nights start to get longer I am trying to take advantage of the little slivers of day where I can enjoy the sun.

Sitting in the sand, basking in the autumn sun I feel so happy to be alive and I want this feeling to last forever.

First Run of November

Why I Love November and hate it

Days are shorter and colder

Runs in the twilight

Hot Tea

Cozy Sweaters

Roasting my buns by the fireplace

and days like yesterday when the sun is shinning but the air is crispy and falley.

So in love with it.
