Here are some links to scroll through this weekend or maybe even before the weekend starts! Cheers to Friday. 🙂
If you have been following me you know I have a deep desire to travel. I have a dream that one day I will own a home on wheels. Until that day I will look at all the cool options that are present. Outside Mag just put out a pictorially beautiful compilation of campervans. So-in-lust.
Here I am again with the minimalism. It is a REAL struggle for me, but I figure if I am going to live more simply I need to continually read about it so it becomes a part of my everyday thought process.
I love a good cheese plate and I have totally spent way too much on cheese in the past. While I wouldn’t always want this simple of a plate I think this is a great idea for some instances.
Oil Cleansing? hmmph I do love coconut oil and I use it religiously as a ‘lotion’ but I am not sure about this cleansing ritual. It def sounds too time and laundry intensive for me on the daily.
I just heard about this site but think it is really awesome for any and all digital nomads. If you happen to use Location Indie let me know I am very curious.
It is getting to be that time of year again. I want to try this hot cider recipe asap.
A fun interview with Colin Wright on how he travels the world and an article from his blog, Exile Lifestyle about Stuff.
I am not much of a beauty guru but if there is something that can make my morning routine easier I appreciate it! Currently loving dry shampoo and coconut oil.
Great infographic on a backpackers needs!
I love Farnoosh and have talked about her podcast before. I love these financial tips she gives. Relevant and not the same old advice.
Hope these give you some food for thought this weekend!
Growing up, anything I liked a lot I would refer to as nectar of the gods. I think coconut oil is my new nectar. It is editable and can be used as a beauty product.
If you have been reading the blog for awhile you know that I love Apple Cider Vinegar! My new love find is the one and only Coconut Oil. Coconut Oil is truly a one stop shop.
It can be used in SO many ways. I have been using it day and night as moisturizer for my face. In the day, I also add an SPF to protect my skin but at night I add it straight on after I wash my face.
One of the biggest things I love about C.O. is that it takes my waterproof eye make up off way better than any eye make up remover I have ever had.
I use it occasionally as a deep conditioner but can not use it daily because my fine hair can not handle all the moisture.
I like using it when I am cooking instead of oil or butter. I have been alerted that some do not like the taste of cooking with it, so I suggest trying it with an open mind!
Honestly though, this small list I have provided is only a fraction of all the uses for coconut oil. Check out Wellness Mama she has the ultimate list of coconut oil uses! I am totally going to have to try a few that I didn’t know about!!
This is my big tub of coconut oil from Costco!
