It isn’t actually too spooky… but we did encounter some awesome decorations and a halloween parade so it fits!
Many flock to Salem around Halloween as it is not only the home of the Salem Witch Trails from the 1600’s but also where the movie Hocus Pocus was filmed.
Two of my best friends just bought a house in Salem, so we went to hang out from the evening and just happened to witness a cute hometown Halloween parade.
What outing would be complete without a little beer tasting! Notch Taproom and Brewery is conveniently located with an amazing outdoor patio that allows you to sit riverside.
The beer is great and the pretzels aren’t bad either.
People lined up for the parade!
The cemetery in town. Spooky.
We hit Opus for dinner. The menu here has everything a diverse party could want. Sushi, burgers and fries…oh my!
These fries were delish.
The sushi was great too!
Can’t wait to visit my friends in Salem again and experience more what this cute, historical town has to offer.
