6:30 am on Sunday, October 20, 2013 – 30,000 women and a few good men took to the foggy and frigid streets of San Francisco and I was one of those crazies.
Crazy in the most exhilarating, fun way and I love how this race brought together people from all over the world – not only to run but raise money and awareness for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Honestly, inspiring. And even though my knees are aching and creaky I am still running high off the endorphins from this race and I think I will be for a long time.
I had been taking running for granted – not enjoying it as much as I used to and this race put running back in perspective for me and reminded me why I love it and why I will continue to…RUN SF!
We went to the Expo in Union Square Friday night and Wowzzza it was awesome!
Race Day! Waiting to start!
